Sue Applegarth
Hygienist: GDC 2586
Sue’s dental career journey began in 1975 as a Dental Nurse and she pursued her nursing role in different environments, including the military, until 1983 when she qualified as a civilian Dental Hygienist with The Royal Army Dental Corp. Sue has been a loyal part of Elvetham Dental for nearly 20 years and is a great team player. She prides herself on providing dental hygiene treatment in a caring and compassionate manner, ensuring patients feel comfortable and included in the treatment process. Sue is committed to educating patients to prevent the onset of periodontal disease.
Erica Costa Pinto
Hygienist: GDC 268846
Erica qualified as a Dental Hygienist in 2011 ( Lisbon Univ) and she loves her work as a hygienist, helping patients to attain and maintain excellent oral health. Over the years Erica’s passion for learning has inspired her to complete multiple trainings in bespoke whitening and periodontal treatment. Erica joined the Elvetham Dental team in 2018 and is a core member of our hygiene team and an enthusiastic proponent of educating patients around oral health. She loves to build a strong rapport with her patients and nothing makes her happier than seeing them return with improved dental health!
Clare Draper
Hygienist: GDC 166852
Clare is the latest hygienist to join the busy dental hygiene team here at Elvetham Dental in Fleet and she brings with her over a decade of experience in the field of dental hygiene. After working 3 years as a dental nurse, Clare went on to qualify as a dental hygienist in 2011 and has worked in a variety of practice environments. Clare is very supportive when treating nervous patients, helping them to overcome their fears and unease around treatment. One of her key areas of interest is the treatment of advanced periodontal problems, focussed on stabilising the condition and delivering the best possible outcome for the patient.
Malathy Suthaharan
Hygienist: GDC 311174
Mala completed her Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) in Chennai, India, before practising as a Dental Surgeon in Sri Lanka, where she gained extensive experience in both private practice and community care. Now registered in the UK as a Dental Hygienist and Therapist, Mala is passionate about preventive dentistry and patient education. Valued for her gentle yet meticulous approach, she is dedicated to helping patients achieve and maintain excellent oral health while ensuring every visit feels calm, comfortable, and reassuring.
